The act of installing the structural membrane. This process begins once an adequate amount of the structure has been erected, usually 100 linear feet of frame, depending on the size of structure. Each modular bay of the Sprung Structure receives 1 fabric panel. There are 2 main types of membrane; Center panels, & End panels. These are packed either rolled or folded in the crates. Each panel has a ½" nylon rope welded along the length of both edges. The Center panel is rectangular in shape, whereas the End panel is triangular.
Center panels are installed using the scissorlift which is placed directly beneath the peak of the Structure. 2 to 4 workers are required to be in the scissorlift to guide the roped edge of the panel into the channel of the main beams. Ropes are attached to the leading edge of the panel. 2 or more workers are then directed to the outside of the structure at the base. These workers pull the ropes while the workers in the scissorlift guide the panel into the channel. The same is repeated for the opposite side.

Once the panel in installed, an aluminum cap is secured to the peak of the main arch. End panels are installed using the same principle. 1 or 2 workers place themselves at the crown of the radius end, on the outside. These 2 workers guide the fabric into the channel while workers at the base pull the ropes. End panels are typically only installed once the Center panels are complete.
